Based in our Barcelona office, you will play a strategic role in the management and development of our Cyber portfolio in your territories, assisting the Cyber manager of this region in strategic and technical matters as they relate to formulating, executing and monitoring underwriting strategies for Cyber risks insurance. The job requires in-depth understanding of Cyber matters (Threat, Vulnerabilities and Consequences), Cyber insurance, European markets, and close collaboration with other teams.Responsibilities The main responsibility of the Cyber Underwriter - Iberian Countries & Italy is to manage the stand-alone Cyber book of business written in those countries.You will play a key role in the alignment of the Cyber risk underwriting strategies for our Underwriting teams, making sure that the Cyber book is consistent and profitable. The responsibilities are further detailed below:Portfolio ManagementThe Cyber Underwriter - Iberian Countries & Italy will:Ensure that our approach in those territories is consistent with our global strategy; In conjunction withthe Financial Lines Managers, Cyber Relay and the Cyber Team, formulate, implement and monitor local Cyber risks strategies; Supervise technical, legal and commercial aspects regarding the development of our Cyber book in those territories; Provide continued training and information sharing with regards to Cyber insurance; Communicate the UW philosophy for Cyber insurance clearly internally and externally; Actively participate in the development of the book of business by using brokers' relationships, local market expertise and language skills; Build productive relationships with assigned field offices and business partners.Underwriting AuthorityThe Cyber Underwriter - Iberian Countries & Italy will be part of the Cyber Risks Committee and will act as a referral authority for certain risk segments
