Our products allow our customers to take on opportunity with confidence.About the role:As the Cyber Junior Underwriter – France, Benelux & Nordics, you will be reporting directly to the Cyber Manager in charge of Western Europe & Latin America regions. You will also be working closely with and will benefit from the mentorship of our Cyber Underwriters and will be part of TMHCC International Cyber team. Based in our Barcelona office, you will play a strategic role in the management of our Cyber portfolio in your territories, assisting Cyber Underwriters in strategic and technical matters as they relate to formulating, executing, and monitoring underwriting strategies for Cyber risks insurance.The job requires a good understanding of Cyber matters (Threat, Vulnerabilities and Consequences), insurance, and European markets evolution. We expect the candidate to have basic knowledge, and training will be provided in the first months.Key Responsibilities:Assist/manage the stand-alone Cyber book of business written in France, Benelux, and Nordics.Align Cyber risk underwriting strategies for our Underwriting teams to ensure consistency and profitability.Formulate, implement, and monitor local Cyber risks strategies in conjunction with the Financial Lines teams and the Cyber Team.Supervise technical, legal, and commercial aspects regarding the development of our Cyber book.Support information sharing regarding Cyber insurance and continuously attend training to keep up to date with new trends.Communicate the UW philosophy for Cyber insurance internally and externally.Build and maintain productive relationships with business partners both internally and externally.Participate in the Cyber Risks Committee and may act as a referral authority for certain risk segments.Assist Cyber Underwriters in managing the overall Cyber portfolio and in providing management information to the Management Team.Perform an annual regional book analysis and contribute to the annual business plans.Skills And Competencies Required:Technical Competencies: (Cyber) Insurance with a fast ability to learn and understand technological processes surrounding internet security and data protection.Leadership: A curious and motivated spirit to learn and share with underwriters and product experts.Fluent in French, English, and ideally Dutch
