Role PurposeThe Product Architect will contribute towards the technology vision for how Vodafone's enterprise connectivity products and enabling network components shall evolve over the next 1-3 years to deliver world class customer products.
The Product Architect will work within a small team of other Product Architects to deliver level vendor solution comparison, potential development timeline, targeted proof of concepts, business case framework, etc. The Product Architect will have a proven ability to look beyond pure technology detail, demonstrating an ability to position complex emerging technologies in terms of both Vodafone business benefit and its ability to solve customer problems. The Product Architect shall work closely with other members of Vodafone, and the wider Vendor community, as part of a virtual team, leveraging existing technology knowledge and experience within Vodafone, along with Vendor Partnerships to deliver a suitable output.
Minimum RequirementsThe Product Architect shall have significant experience as a Network and Solution Architect, with a good understanding of established network technologies, and a current understanding of the SD-WAN and NFV market. Equally relevant, the Product Architect will have a good understanding of Systems and Tools to enable network technologies to be operated, managed and sold at a Service Provider scale. A good understanding of modern Platform oriented architecture and all relevant technologies is also required.
