Responsibility :
Responsibility
Expert in its domain. Lead technical analysis to support customers (internal or external) and solve technical issues.
Support RMAs (Under and out of warranty).
Main Duties
Support to Design:
Ownership of the requirements for the design for maintainability (ex. Part-145) of the products during the gate development process.
Support development stage by providing In-Service performance feedbacks and lessons learned.
Support to Production:
Support production test technicians on problems encountered when testing products.
Drive Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions to support yield improvements.
In-Service Support:
First point of Contact / interface for customer RMAs.
Drive and manage RMAs with appropriate teams.
Establish Support Documents required by the projects.
Key technical expert on legacy products.
Prepare procedure when rework is needed at customer site.
Support and generate Customer Support quotes.
Root Cause Analysis:
Carry out inspection and troubleshooting of defective used product or subparts that have been kept for further analysis.
Synchronize Root Cause Analysis activities with Methods or Engineering (8D and problem solving).
Feedback loop to Engineering and Production for lessons learnt process.
Participate to the Quality Clinic for customer issues and RMA in service.
KPI responsibility:
Customer claims (Escape, Deviations, etc...).
Customer audit score.
RMAs (in and out of warranty).
Quote profitability support / contributor.
Rights and Signature Authority:
Authorized to perform incoming, in-process and final inspection on used electronic equipment.
Authorized to sign inspection/test sheets, Intervention Reports (IR) and final Acceptance Test Reports (ATR) issued by MSI.
Right and duty to stop non-conforming activities, to report any non-conformity detected and to stop the processing or the delivery of non-compliant products.
Education / Experience:
University degree in Science or Engineering (BA / BS).
At least 2 years of experience in Electronics manufacturing or repair, preferably in the Aviation, Space and Defense (ASD) industry.
English spoken and written.
Special Qualifications:
EASA Part 145 Certifying Staff Member (when authorized):
Shall have a minimum age of 21 years.
Have a minimum of 6 months relevant component maintenance experience in any consecutive 2-year period.
Are in possession of an appropriate aircraft maintenance licence or a personal authorisation that is valid for the period that the certification authorisation to be issued.
Have an adequate understanding of the relevant components to be maintained together with the associated organisation procedures.
Have an adequate understanding of the relevant MSI maintenance organisation procedures and Part 145 regulation to perform the duties of a certifying staff member as defined in the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) 2.16.
