Job Summary Position: Customer Service Representative - Dutch Speaker - Pharmaceutical Logistics
We're hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service team in Madrid, Spain.
World Courier's Customer Service Representatives are responsible for the end-to-end logistical coordination of complex, urgent, and potentially life-saving shipments every day. This position represents a fantastic development opportunity for an experienced logistics professional with strong customer service skills, motivated by solving problems and delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities Communication and contact with customers and prospects. Develop customer relationships. Plan and execute shipment orders. Prepare and submit written quotes to customers. Provide customer-specific reporting. Be a key player in booking and cutting waybills. Receive and reply to inquiries via email, phone, and throughout our internal IT system. Monitor and track ongoing shipments, reacting to any deviations. Communicate temperature results ASAP after delivery, checking and noting any deviations. Work with regulations (ADR/DGR/IATA) as well as with local laws and guidelines. Build and maintain relationships with other World Courier offices, clients, agents, airlines, handling agents, and suppliers. Interest in developing more managerial skills to become a team lead according to timelines and performance. Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and quick learner. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail. Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Ability to represent a positive and professional image. Ability to learn fast in new platforms or systems. Ability to work independently and self-organized. Desired Attributes: Native or fluent in English and Dutch is required. Experience as Customer Service in a business-to-business industry required; experience in logistics or freight forwarding preferred. Graduate in fields such as International Trade, Logistics, or similar preferred. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry, or working with pharmaceutical shipments preferred.
