At Draxton Lleida, our machining plant located between Cervera and Tàrrega, we are looking to hire a Customer Quality Engineer.
In this role, you will manage the quality of products manufactured in-house and interact with important clients in the sector.
This position reports hierarchically and functionally to the Quality Management.
Main Responsibilities:
Coordinate process improvement activities with the different involved departments to reduce process variability, defects, and internal rejections. Manage the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles for risk and continuous improvement. Report through statistical process analysis (SPC), Pareto charts, Ishikawa diagrams, etc., regarding the root cause analysis of product defects to the Quality and Production managers. Continuously audit the process/product to ensure compliance with established procedures and working methods that guarantee product quality. Collaborate with Engineering during the development of new projects and analyze design problem resolutions by providing the relevant process data. Evaluate the effectiveness of countermeasures established for products and act accordingly. Ensure, through periodic meetings and retraining of involved operators, that the quality criteria required by the products are met during verification. To succeed in this role, you will need:
Education: Degree in Engineering. Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality environments. Advanced level of English (C1). What we offer:
