Do you have a technical background and feel comfortable building long-term professional relationships?At Draxton Atxondo, located in Vizcaya, we are looking to hire a Customer Project Leader.In this role, you will manage projects from the Request for Quotation (RFQ) phase to new product sign-off, acting as the primary interface between the engineering team and the customer. This includes coordinating pre-nomination activities related to customers, ensuring that all requirements and expectations are met throughout the process.You will report hierarchically and functionally to the Brakes Competences Center Manager. Main Responsibilities: Opportunity Development: Capture customer needs and product trends, transforming them into strategic opportunities for the company. Design Leadership: Organize pre-nomination engineering sessions, promoting co-design with customers and presenting innovative design solutions. Customer Interaction Management: Oversee all customer interactions throughout project phases, delegating plant-specific interactions to the Program Manager. Technical Quotations Coordination: Collaborate with Product Engineers to integrate technical quotations and assess manufacturing capacity for new projects. Project Monitoring: Track the nomination status of new projects and ensure alignment with customer expectations. Design Phase Initiation: Lead project information reviews to kick off the design stage, defining scope, specifications, and risk assessments while applying lessons learned. Customer Validation: Obtain validation for model and process designs from customers. Technical Negotiation: Lead negotiations with customers to ensure alignment on key technical aspects. Project Execution: Execute all designated activities for the Customer Project Leader, ensuring documentation is uploaded in TEAMCENTER. Project Closure: Manage the formal closure of new projects, ensuring all criteria for completion are met. To succeed in this role, you will need: Engineering degree. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in the automotive sector. Advanced level of English. What we offer: Job Stability: Permanent contract backed by a solid financial environment.
