About You
As the Customer Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the logistics customer relationship in the Southern Europe cluster (Spain, Portugal and Italy). You will act as the main logistics contact for country Commercial teams and you will be responsible for sharing best practices and maintaining standardization in customer logistics with other Customer Logistics Managers in UK and Western Europe.
You will report to the Logistics & Distribution Manager Southern Europe and will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).
Location: we can offer a hybrid model (on remote / 2 days per week at Madrid or Turin Office) for candidates already based in Spain or in Italy.
Role will require approximately 10% - 25% travel within Europe.
YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Coordinate with Operations Manager and Transport Manager to ensure Customer Logistics arrangements are optimized
- Key contact and coordinator for country commercial teams around customer performance, consistent issues with deliveries and special requirements
- Responsible for Logistics relationship with customers (improvements, issues management, customer visits, logistics negotiations, reviews, new opportunities)
- Driving Customer KPI's : OTIF (On Time In Full), CFR (Case Fill Rate)
- Focal point for customer queries in the Supply Chain, providing guidance / direction on customer logistics terms and implications
- Work with Customer Service teams to ensure conformance to Customer Logistics standard terms and conditions
- Responsible for Cost Transformation, Cost and penalties Management
- Key contact for Customer Logistics with the Logistics & Distribution Lead
- Lead the Supply Chain Advantage Group strategy development and deployment
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Graduate or equivalent
- Previous working experience in Supply Chain
- High analytical and negotiation skills
- Quick decision making and ability to react rapidly to changing priorities
- Problem solving, result and action orientation
- Good level of communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Business acumen
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Italian preferred
