Job Description: Are you a US Navy Maintenance Planning and Execution professional with 10 - 15 years of supervisory maintenance experience? Be our next Detachment Engineer for SURFMEPP in Rota, Spain. (Relocation Assistance is available for the position) As a Detachment Engineer, you will:Provide critical support in protecting our country.Work with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals supporting SURFMEPP.Continue growing and perfecting your skills as a US Navy Maintenance Planning and Execution expert.Receive a robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan!Be a part of an empowered accountability culture where each employee-owner has a meaningful stake in the future success and growth of the company.A week in the life of a Detachment Engineer:Responsible for generating and tracking execution of Baseline Availability Work Packages (BAWPs).Coordinate execution of Mandatory Technical Requirements with Regional Maintenance Center Project Managers and Assessment Directors.Conduct Ship visits to validate MTR's.Support the development of SURFMEPP processes and products and ensure alignment with higher-level guidance directed by the government.Act as the primary interface with TYCOM Port Engineer in support of Availability Work Package planning for assigned ships.Relocation Assistance is available for this position.
