What we're looking forWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to set strategy and make executive technology decisions on behalf of the organization including managing a technology budget and making the necessary investments to align the organization with its vision for its technological needs.If you are a technology visionary with expertise in technological development who executes that vision, we want to hear from you!Working directly with the management team, you will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions impacting current and future operations.As the CTO, you will oversee all technology and technological resources, establish the technology vision, strategies, and growth plans.For this role, we are seeking expertise supporting a growth strategy by expanding existing customer relationships, anticipating current and future needs, developing new business opportunities, and cultivating partner relationships.What your day-to-day will look like:Hiring, empowering, and training new team membersManaging engineering projects end-to-endDefine the tech strategy and set ambitious goals for your teamManage infrastructure and own platform security scalabilityIdentify, compare, select, and implement tech solutions to meet current and future business needsDesign and lead the implementation of our strategy for technologyYou will thrive if you have:You offer a Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field; Master's degree in business or a technology-related discipline preferredExtensive experience as an engineerEnglish and French speaker.At least 5-7 years of experience in executive leadership rolesExperience managing complex tech projects with a track record of technology innovation, design, development, and implementationA strong understanding and track record of how to drive a thriving Engineering cultureExperience partnering with Product Business units to break down large, complex projects into multiple teams with rapid iterative milestones and clear outcomesExperience ensuring the correct software development process is in place and adapted to the needs of our organizationAbility to execute a data-driven approach to decision-makingProven technical leadership at the enterprise levelYou have proven success in building high-performing technical teams at fast-growing companiesYou are a strategic thinker and effective communicatorExperience in Fintech companies is a big plusBenefitsWork From HomeWe have a remote-first policy.
