Job Summary The Wedding Coordinator reports to the Front Office Manager and is accountable to him or her in all respects for the efficient and creative execution of all weddings for guests of the hotel.
Job Requirements for the Ideal Candidate: Must have certification from a recognized institution in Hospitality & Tourism Management Must have five (5) CXC subjects with Ranges 1 to 3 or GCE O' Level A to C is required including Mathematics Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar position or experience in events planning Has knowledge of Jamaican Legislation governing marriages Must have good command of the English language Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to relate well with persons at all levels.
Must be creative inclusive of detailed wedding planning detailing of special requests.
Must have positive work ethics and attitude Must possess excellent Leadership and Motivational Skills Must have excellent time management skills Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
Ability to speak a foreign language would be an asset.
