H&MV Engineering have offices and active site locations in Ireland, UK, Norway, Sweden, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, India, and South Africa.Key ResponsibilitiesThe appointed H&MV CSA Site Engineer will be responsible for the management of CSA design in liaison with CSA designers and quality control on the project, to achieve required project delivery to the customers' objectives, whilst maintaining standards of health and safety, quality environmental impact and cost control.
The CSA Site Engineer is responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising the work subcontractors to ensure Design is being followed and quality is being achieve and documented, also ensuring that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget.
This involves ensuring all Company and legal regulations are implemented, that all required documentation is completed as necessary and recording daily work on site.Daily TasksTo conduct themselves in a professional manner.Attendance of project handover and project kick off meetings.Ensuring effective communication with the Project team, Subcontractors, and the Client.Involvement in the project pre contractor appointment to understand the scope of works and budget for works.
Work with Project Manager and Site Manager to manage the CSA contractor(s) throughout project.Assisting the CSA Sub-Contractor with any issues they have on the project.Report Weekly and monthly on progress and raise any issues with the CSAAttendance and added value to be brought to all project meetings with updates given on the design, quality, programme, and commercial sections.Involvement in completing Weekly Progress Report for CSA scope to the client on the project .Mentoring CSA graduates / ApprenticesBackground in civil engineering with a strong understanding of earthworks, concrete and rebar construction with high finishing standardsRelevant safety trainingKPI (Key Performance Indicators)SafetyMeet all relevant Legislative, Regulatory, and applicable local area and country regulations.Carry out regular Safety Audits during site visits.Ensure compliance in H&MV safety policies on site by all, lead from the topMonitor and measure appointed sub-contractor safety compliance.QualityAccountable that the quality of our work, will be always perform to the highest standardsCarry out regular Quality Audits during site visits.Ensure compliance in H&MV Quality policies on site by all, lead from the topMonitor subcontractors on the completion of the quality documentation (ITP/Checksheet/benchmarks) throughout the project.Ensuring as-builts of all works are captured correctly.Raise NCRs with subcontractors as they arise on site and manage until closed out.Ensure Certifications/Warranties for each element of work's are compiled upon completion of each element of work.DesignEnsuring that the latest and most up to date drawings are in place on-site before commencing work.Ensuring material approvals process is being followedManage Subcontractors Material Approval Request/ Technical Submission with CSA designer expediting responses as required.Manage Subcontractors CSA RFIs with CSA designer expediting responses as required.Assist in the closing of CSA design and construction comment logs with the Lead Electrical Engineer.CommercialUnderstand CSA Contractors budget/BOQ and CSA Prelims for project.Ensure compliance in H&MV commercial policies on site by all, lead from the topMonitor and measure appointed sub-contractor commercial compliance.Understand CSA Contractors budget/BOQ and CSA Prelims for project.Ensure any variations on projects are communicated with the project QS and PM and logged in your site diary identifying the activity and keeping records of plant, labor, and materials.Promote any potential value engineering that could be implemented to reduce project cost or accelerate construction programme.Assistance with procurement and supply chain.Assistance with Tendering as requested.PlanningReview all project schedules for construction, ensure all milestones and deadlines will be met, to include long lead equipment and materialEnsure all needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish complying with budgetary limitationsClientMeeting with clients, third parties and managers to report on safety, progress, and quality.#J-18808-Ljbffr
