Crypto Custodian and Classified Registry Controller
An opportunity for a Crypto Custodian has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).
Responsibilities:
You will join our Governmental Security team and you will have the following main functions:
Crypto Custodian responsibilities:
Managing the cryptomaterial in the COMSEC account.
Ensuring cryptomaterial is issued only to appropriately cleared and crypto-authorized individuals.
Maintaining COMSEC accounting and related files to include current and historical records of the cryptomaterial in the COMSEC account, including its location or disposition.
Conducting physical inventory checks and preparing and submitting accounting reports as required.
Inspecting cryptomaterial protective packaging upon arrival and verifying the contents of the shipment and the related documentation.
Working with the user to ensure there is a continuing requirement for specific keymat.
Issuing or transferring cryptomaterial as directed to authorized COMSEC accounts (including sub-accounts) or individual users.
Maintaining awareness of the location of every item of cryptomaterial held by the account and the general purpose for which it is used.
Ensuring that cryptomaterial is properly prepared and shipped.
Ensuring the COMSEC account is properly transferred prior to departing an assignment.
POC for the NDA and the different Crypto Custodians from the different companies, suppliers, clients.
Classified Registry Controller responsibilities:
Reception, control, registry, custody, reproduction, distribution and, sometimes, destruction of all NATO/National information received from a third party or generated by Airbus Defence and Space.
POC for the MoD and the different Classified Registries from the different companies, suppliers, clients.
Skills:

Advanced level in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.
Advanced knowledge and experience with the avionics material (radios, MIDS).
Good communication and presentation skills.
Able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Proven capability of synthesis, executive summary writing and reporting to senior levels inside the organization.
Proven capability to work both across networks and direct teams, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and diplomacy.
Flexibility to adapt to different schedules.
Ability to work with international organizations.
Experience in Defence/military aerospace programmes.
Knowledge about Airbus products, culture, and processes.
