You are the linking pin between the international and local Pepper & Eggplant market, our breeding programme and our Strategic Crop Team. You work in close collaboration with colleagues in the Mediterranean areas and you play an important role in the portfolio management and our product development strategy. In summary, you are responsible for:The commercial introduction- and trial plan per market segment in the Mediterranean areas, including the sales objectives and forecasts of commercial and pre-commercial varietiesActively obtaining market and product information – together with a strong network of crop specialists – that contributes to the commercial strategy and breeding policiesIdentifying opportunities that can lead to new product development activitiesAdvising the Strategic Crop Team on current activities and future strategiesLocally you will lead as client manager some reference accounts in pepper and eggplantLeading special local projects that deliver value through the whole value chain in which you are the link to the crop- and local organizationYour contribution:You are a real team worker, able to connect & stimulate people, and have vision and the ability to formulate a crop strategy.
