We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Cornellà del Terri, Girona. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and executing field and laboratory tests, ensuring the highest scientific standards and compliance with international regulations.
Your tasks: Design and conduct tests, in both field and laboratory settings according to international guidelines (OECD, EPPO, BPR and others). Implement tests initially in our facilities, with the potential to scale to real-world situations in crop fields or pest-infested premises. Work independently and proactively in test design and implementation. Ensure the scientific integrity, timely delivery, and financial success of contracted studies. Supervise and mentor team members according to their respective roles in various study types. Communicate effectively with international clients and subcontractors. Perform general administrative and laboratory tasks in compliance with GEP/GLP standards and Health & Safety regulations. Your Profile: Bachelor's degree (BSc) required; MSc or higher in Biology, Environmental Science, or Agronomy preferred. Knowledge of the biology and breeding of arthropods and molluscs is advantageous. Phytosanitary and/or the biocide applicator certification is desirable. Understanding of the agricultural and livestock sectors. Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service orientation. Specific experience in efficacy testing is not mandatory but will be highly valued; experience in project management and field trials is beneficial. Proficiency in scientific English is required. Willingness to travel to test fields across Spain and attend meetings in various locations.
