As a Crew Lead across our Start Up, Construction division, you will be working on varying sizes of projects reporting into a Senior Site Lead, usually leading a small team of employees or agency workers to complete tasks within their area of skill and expertise. This is a manual (hand/power tools) live site and a labor-heavy role. Ideally, you will come from a Construction, Engineering, or Electrical background with experience of small to medium scale projects - ideally within the fit-out or installation sector.
Key Responsibilities Include:Supervising a dedicated team of temporary workers through project completion - this will differ per project.Ensuring there is a site accident book and that any accident (major or minor) involving an NPSG team member is recorded in it and reported to the Health & Safety Team.Assisting in completing quality documentation/reporting including burn/status reports.Managing Work in Progress materials and project-related documentation in an orderly fashion.Preparing a site for the go live date - including setting up work stations, inventory, and workflows.Planning, scheduling, assigning work, and ensuring that activities comply with company policies and procedures, codes, and regulations.Circa 80% of this role will be hands-on using power hand tools to complete the project installation including assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electro-mechanical assemblies.Recording technical tests and performance validation data in a data capture system.Communicating technical problems and working with other team members, as required, to solve them.Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.Required Profile:3+ years minimum experience in a live site environment within Construction, Engineering, or Automation.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook, Microsoft Project - You must have the ability to read drawings and identify specifications.Experience with various power hand tools - This is a hands-on position and you will be expected to support and lead the team in an "all hands on deck" environment.You will be expected to lead a team in a client-facing environment, so you must be a strong communicator with proven leadership skills.
