Job Title: Credit ControllerWe're looking for a Credit Controller for our team in Barcelona.
In this role, you will work closely with our customers, sales, finance, and accounting teams.
This role is based in Barcelona, and you will work with the whole finance team within South Europe and France.

Responsibilities:Clear incoming payments on customer accounts and work in customer's portals.Work with AP to clear deductions.Control and manage vendor accounts in collaboration with AR Assistant.Closely monitor customer balances, resolve issues, and ensure proper customer communication (collection and payment reminders).Reconcile customer accounts on a monthly basis.Escalate and report on credit issues.Make sure that the flow of invoices is correct including coordination of EDI issues (escalate immediately).Perform relevant SOX controls (contract review – OTC02/ IFRS-15, preparer OTC-16,17).Support commercial controller on credit terms and support new customer set up & Maintain Customer Master data form.Requirements:Attention to detail is crucial for reviewing financial documents, detecting discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy in credit transactions.The ability to analyze financial data and trends.Effective communication with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders and the ability to set and achieve targets.Problem-solving skills are essential for identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.A degree in economics / Accounting and at least 2-3 years of experience as a Credit Controller, AR or in a similar role.A solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
