Skin Research Europe S.L is a European Skincare Group headquartered in London. Due to Brexit, more of our business is now flowing through our European company based in Barcelona, and we are looking for an experienced Spanish Speaking Accounts Assistant to join the team in Barcelona. The role Full ownership of day-to-day Spain accounting operations, including all aspects of transactional finance and weekly/monthly/quarterly accounting. Become the main Finance point of contact for all Spanish operations. Aid the Spain monthly close process while producing monthly management accounts. Aid with the wider group month-end process. Bank reconciliations, process transfers/sales invoices, payments to suppliers. Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and financial reporting systems. Monthly inter-company reconciliations. Daily Cashflow preparation and analysis. Manage expenses and corporate card transactions. Act as a finance business partner to the wider international business. Aid in the effective transition of regional financial reporting into central reporting structures with a focus on improving internal controls and accounting processes. Report at a senior level, dealing with departmental leads and the executive leadership team. Aid the development of the wider finance team as operations grow within the UK and USA businesses. Liaise with external Finance and HR teams for VAT/Tax submissions, Statutory account preparation and monthly payroll preparation/queries. How to know if you're a good fit Part Qualified/ Newly Qualified Accountant. Fluent in both English and Spanish. Strong, demonstrable working knowledge of transactional finance. Able to work independently and within tight timelines. Able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Familiar with Microsoft Office products. Experience of Xero bookkeeping an advantage (training will be provided). Good organisational and time management skills. Honesty and reliability.
