A Credit & Collection handles the billing & collection, they ensure that the company receives accurate payment in a timely fashion. They handles delinquent accounts with payment plans & late fees.
C&C ANALYST DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1)ACCOUNT SERVICING
a) Attends to buyer's concerns about their accounts such as deferment of deposit of post dated checks, etc.
b) Acknowledgement of buyer's post dated checks(PDC's) for safekeeping
c) Prepares PDC Warehousing textfile for submission to the bank and submission of physical checks transmittal to the bank.
d) Daily monitoring of maturing PDC's, reconcile to abstract Report from R.bank & preparation of POS if needed by Head Office Cashier;
e) Set-up accounts for those with payments thru ADA- Auto Debit Arrangement (BPI & BDO) & generate every maturity.
f) Prepares adjustment advice (AA) for requests relative to collections. such as standard discounts, movement of due date, reclassification/re-application of payments made, restructuring, refinancing (standard) , waiver of penalties (except for LTO penalties), for DMs & CMs, refund for over payment, refund for construction bond, AA (Cancellation) to re-open etc.
g) Preparation of Affidavit of Release & Quitclaim for Refund checks
h) Monitoring of daily Inward Returned Checks Report from R. Bank, all bounced checks for the day for DM & SAP
i) Booking of In house Financing
j) Thorough evaluation or assessing credit worthiness of buyers of housing units for In-house Financing
k) Preparation of Certificate of Full Payment/ Cert. of Purchase
l) Online & Manual Clearing Sheet
m) Preparation of Statement of Accounts (SOA)
2) DELINQUENT ACCOUNT FOLLOW UP
a) Follows up payment of delinquent accounts thru telephone and letters thru' mail & email
b) Follows approved collection process :(Sending of collection letters : RL- Reminder letter, DL-Demand Letter, FDL-Final Demand letter, NTC- Notice to Cancel, NOC- Notice of Cancellation)
c) Documents bounced check thru DM and follows up its replacement , sending Bounced Check Letter - BCL) For In House accounts with Move-In, send BCL-Bounced Check Letter, BCDl-Bounced Check Demand letter, BCLL- Bounced Check Legal Letter then letter endorsement to Legal for filing of case – BP22 (an ejectment case may be filed simultaneously with BP 22 case)
d) Processing of requests fr buyers eg holding of check deposit for pull out to RBank.
e) Offer remedies on restructure of accounts to prevent cancellation
f) Process Deferment of Cancellation request from buyer
3) REPORTING
a) Past Due Report (Ageing Report
b) Active Accounts or Unpaid (Open) Accounts
c) Cancellation Report/Analysis
d) Collection Report/Collection Efficiency
d) Maturing Post dated checks Active Accounts
e) Bounced Check Report
f) Fully paid Accounts
g) Joint Venture Sharing Report
h) Other reports that may be assigned
4) OTHERS
a) Enrollment/Renewal of Life & Fire Insurance and HGC
b) Bank Reconciliation (From Accounting)- clean up of unreceipted remittances/deposits & unreconciled returned checks
c) Monitor bank remittances from overseas buyers & other direct deposits from local buyers
d) Replenishment – checking of documents attachment & receipts vs RFCV
e) Checking of RFTR- Revolving Fund Transfer Request fot Cash Advances & Reimbursement from Region.
f) Monitor & consolidate reports of DCRs from Region
g) Tagging of all cleared check for Incentive check process
h) Preparation of monthly RSC billing.
