.Credit Analyst (m/f/x/d, 80-100% Hybrid) In this role, you will work with colleagues in diverse functions including underwriting, risk management, portfolio management, and pricing actuaries. You will contribute to activities linked to the elaboration and implementation of the strategy of Global Credit & Surety Reinsurance.You will be part of the C&S Product Centre Team and responsible for:Ongoing monitoring of the credit portfolio: Monitoring credit exposures to assess the potential impact of market events on the C&S Reinsurance portfolio, including its sub-portfolios and specific obligors.Credit risk, credit rating assessment, and financial analysis of a diverse set of industrial corporates, sovereigns, and banks.Approval/recommendation of credit limits in line with internal policies and standards.Ongoing monitoring of credit exposure, with timely reporting and escalation procedures to prevent any potential breaches of limits. This includes regular management reports and the provision of ad-hoc data.Proactively identifying high-risk companies and providing potential recommendations for watchlist inclusion.At the request of Underwriters, perform initial screening and vetting of obligor risks, delivering objective credit risk-related inputs on transactions and obligors as well as recommendations on credit risk mitigation.Contribution towards shaping data and technology-driven transformation of our Credit & Surety business.About the teamThe C&S Product Centre ensures underwriting excellence across our business. Knowledge of credit products such as corporate loans or mortgages is a plus.Strong credit risk assessment skills with demonstrated ability to apply skills to a global environment.Ability to go 'beyond the financials' in enriching the credit analysis with the most current economic, industry, and market sentiments.Proficient in financial spreading, financial projections, and experience in handling credit application documents.Ability to critically question rationales behind transaction applications and obtain a holistic view of the business justification
