: The Creative Director, Lingokids Playroom will provide hands-on leadership for the ideation, creative development and execution of the Marketing and Business Development initiatives for Lingokids apps, podcast, brand extensions worldwide.
The Creative Director will report to the CMO.
As Creative Director, Lingokids Playroom you will lead the Playroom creative team and external ad agencies to provide creative solutions in the development process and creative services execution.
In addition to partnering with North America, LATAM, and EMEA marketing managers, you will collaborate closely with Lingokids Studio, Product Team, Podcast Team, and Lingokids Playlearning teams.
You will report to the CMO and will have high visibility both within the marketing function at Lingokids.
Responsibilities: Provide leadership in the creative process from brief to ideation to production for the Global Marketing organization including overall creative support to marketing initiatives in the organization.
Lead an internal 6+ member creative team in ideation, creative and strategic development.
Leverage strong leader in the team for executional process.
Ensure and maintain cross-discipline expertise.
Foster collaboration and sense of community within the creative cast.
Embrace an integrated media approach and understand how big organizing ideas work across current and emerging media platforms including but not limited to big campaigns, broadcast, and digital.
Foster an engaging, inspiring, 'what if' environment leading to the development and execution of stellar impactful, insight-based creative solutions.
You must have a passion for ideation and a high standard for creative excellence, strategic acumen and overall design aesthetics.
Work hand in hand with our Content Studio creative leadership to bring our IPs to live in our marketing content.
Partner with marketing leadership to maintain and grow external agency relationships to deliver exceptional creative content and to ensure maximum utilization of staff and freelance resources.
Partner with all internal and external partners including but not limited to: operations, legal, human resources, and finance.
Effectively and persuasively pitch ideas while being open to taking feedback and acting upon that feedback with your team.
Proactively build a talent pipeline of fresh, diverse creative talent to support future demand.
Champion Diversity and Inclusion inviting diverse perspectives, encouraging an inclusive work environment and supporting workforce diversity.
Desired experience: 8y+ of creative and management experience, including consumer brands, original IPs, digital products, subscription/monetization apps, and podcasts.
Experience building brand campaigns and strategies that feature kid/family original IPs.
Proven leadership track record required, leading cross-discipline teams and leaders.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to different cultures required; international experience strongly preferred.
Proven track record in creative development of best in class advertising and design.
Experience leading teams in the creation of both notable creative and business results.
Current knowledge of the latest trends, styles and technologies is a must.
Hands on ability to lead the creative process in both writing and/or art direction then through the production process.
Proven ability to service internal clients with varying business needs through strong partnership and communication, as well as be able to communicate and integrate well with Lingokids Studios, Lingokids Playlearning, Product, Media, and Business Performance.
Be a positive force - keeping teams motivated to deliver excellence.
Knowledge and genuine interest in the kid/family consumer products, especially gaming, education, and entertainment.
Current knowledge of global legal implications that guide ethical and responsible kid/family marketing (e.g., COPPA, CARU, etc.).
English is a must.
