Voodoo is creating a small experimentation team with a big mission: find the next best way to entertain the world by taking our best hits to a new level. You will be one of the first members of a team of six and you will participate in every aspect of development, from ideation to testing the casual games in the market.
You will be joining one of our Live Studios, working on Bag Fight. Role: We are looking for a talented Creative Director with a good understanding of the midcore mobile game market to help the team deliver fun, innovative, and entertaining games. You will:
Define a clear, cohesive design pipeline for a Live GameInfluence the roadmap and the vision of the product, acting as the copilot of the studioPitch and implement big features to the team, deconstructing them into smaller componentsOwn game balancing, pacing, and feelAlways back up your ideas with available data pointsDeconstruct and analyze mobile game mechanicsGet involved in all aspects of game development: UI, UX, game design, logic, performance, etc.Help fine-tune game balancing, pacing, and feelBenchmark the market to stay on top of new trendsUnderstand models and tools to analyze gameplay and user behaviorBuild communities around the gameProfile: At least 5 years of professional experience as a game designer or a product-related role on a Live Game, with a strong knowledge of system design and game economyExperience working on casual or midcore mobile games and F2PCreative and hacker mindsetStrong leadership skillsCommunication skills in English, both written and verbalCreative, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindsetAccountability, independence, and responsibility when given ownership over your workFamiliarity with Unity and Figma is a plusProficient in Excel for initial balancing tasks would be a plusBenefits: Best-in-class compensation and other benefits according to the country you reside.
