As a key member of the Global Operational Excellence Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving transformative improvements in operational performance.
This will be achieved by refining and applying our Lean Operational Excellence methodology, empowering cross-functional teams, and leading strategic improvement initiatives to deliver measurable and sustainable benefits.
In this newly established role, you will report directly to both the Finance and Performance Manager within GPM and the Global Operational Excellence Lead, while closely collaborating with the GPM Leadership Team and a global network of Operational Excellence Managers.
Key Responsibilities:Identify areas for process improvement using data analysis and stakeholder feedback, and develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.Lead cross-functional teams in executing improvement projects, facilitate the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and collaborate with the Global Operational Excellence Lead to prioritize and launch global improvement pilots.Partner with a global team of Operational Excellence Managers and share lessons learned, best practices, and act as a change agent to embed operational excellence in GPM, manage resistance, and ensure smooth transitions during changes.Provide proactive coaching on Lean management, process improvement, and problem-solving to manager- and employee-led improvement initiatives.Develop and deliver Lean Operational Excellence training programs (in-person and virtual) and create learning paths for the organization.Define and track KPIs to measure the success of initiatives and monitor operational efficiency, and provide regular performance updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders.Occasional travel may be required.Minimum Requirements:5+ years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or a related role, ideally within an international or global organization and/or consulting environment.
