As a Senior Cluster Accountant, you are part of a sub-regional or regional accounting cluster within the Global Delivery organisation, which is part of the Global Finance Operations organisation.
The Global Delivery organisation is driving and delivering global efficient and harmonized processes in Purchase To Pay (PTP), Order To Cash (OTC), and General Accounts Receivable (GAR) accounting areas.
The cluster works in the General Accounting and Reporting area.
The different teams in the Global Finance Operations are responsible for reporting and analysing the actuals, as well as reporting, consolidating, and analysing forecasts and Business Plans for all financial information including profit, cash flow, balance sheet, investments, and cost control.
The processes for this are developed in close cooperation with the Business controllers in the functions as well as with the Group Finance function.
The One Finance Organisation, GFO, is part of a global team that drives business performance to realize the objectives set out in Volvo Car Group's Corporate Strategy.
In cooperation with colleagues in other business units worldwide, One Finance provides financial expertise, business controlling, and guidance.

What you'll doThe main purpose of the accounting role is to record, analyse, and present accounting information relating to the activities of the company in a manner that is accurate, timely, and fitting the requirements of internal customers and external auditors, while in line with governing accounting principles.
The role helps secure the fulfilment of company objectives by providing financial expertise, sound judgement, and the setup of global efficient and harmonized processes that are accounting-related.
In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting and more complex accounting questions, as well as closing activities.
You will also take part in process development and deliver high-quality service and advice within your area of responsibility.
Identifying areas for improvement will be essential, along with completing complex analysis and reporting.
You will manage processes globally and measure and follow up on the quality and efficiency of global processes and KPIs.
Do you fit the profile?In this role, you'll need to be fluent in English, both written and verbally, knowledgeable in the SAP system, and possess great communication and cooperation skills.
Additionally, familiarity with Taxes, Local GAAP, and IFRS is required.
You should have the ability to plan and prioritize with a flexible and positive mindset and actively participate in large projects.
