This department covers the areas of Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cash management, Reporting and VAT among others.The Country Accountant will get overall accounting and reporting responsibility for several countries in the EMEA region. This includes maintaining the books and records for the day-to-day activities and performing month end closing activities regarding Balance Sheet Accounts and Profit & Loss Accounts for assigned countries. Month end closing activities and reporting are performed according to US GAAP. In addition, the Country Accountant is responsible for annual statutory reporting under local GAAP of the countries assigned with the assistance of local advisors
