Role Description: Arcadis is looking for a Cost Manager to join our team in Madrid, ES.

Role Accountabilities:

Strong background within Cost Management (3 years). Technical Due Diligence audits: Technical review of installation projects, technical specifications, and maintenance documentation for all types of assets (industrial, residential, tertiary); analysing regulatory compliance, design and operating conditions, and useful life of equipment. Preparation of pre-contract cost estimates and project cash-flow. Preparation of tender documentation and evaluation, review, and validate Contractor estimates. Advise on contractual matters. Identifying, analyzing, and developing responses to commercial risks. Monitor Contractors to ensure compliance with the Contract. Validate claims for change on the scope of works and agree new value. Monitor delivery of the Contractor's services & works to ensure that costs are in line with forecasts. Undertaking costs analysis of works or services delivered. Post-contract administration and management - contract documentation, valuation of progress payment, variation assessment, and cost control report. Provide financial progress reports. Qualifications & Experience:

Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Cost & Commercial management, with proven experience in pre and post contract cost management. University degree in Construction Management (Building Surveying) or Architecture; also M&E engineers are welcomed. English: Advanced. Proven knowledge in REVIT, BIM, AutoCAD, PRESTO; and MS Office & MS Project. MRICS or equivalent will be an asset. Technical proficiency - measurement, cost estimating, construction technology, contracts, and law. Previous experience within a Consultancy environment is a plus. Proven experience managing project cost/budget, scope, schedule, and resources, managing vendors, and overseeing formal planning, tracking, and reporting project performance. Good communication skills. Good negotiation and people skills. Strong technical education in building construction. Client facing, well-organized, self-motivated, and able to work on their own as well as working within a team and lead it. Why Become an Arcadian?
