Say farewell to the ordinary, and hello to the extraordinary!Job DescriptionWhat you'll doWe are looking for a Cost Controller to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Finance, you'll support the Finance department on the financial operations of the hotel while managing hotel assets and ensuring a centralized accounting environment.Manage and record goods deliveries.Record of F&B costs into the General Ledger System.Adhere to all cost control procedures (where applicable create new procedures).Update costings.Ensure compliance with documentation/authorisation processes.Process F&B accruals.Monitor inventories of F&B to increase inventory turnover.Participate in month end reporting procedures in relation to F&B stock and other tasks.Carry out weekly stock takes and evaluating potentials.Help with and maintain purchasing agreements.Maintain purchase system and ensure all items are up to date.To check and verify all reconciled inventory reports with book balance, actual count and unit costs. Troubleshoot if necessary.To be sure, all the cost reports, daily, monthly, and yearly, are prepared and submitted on time.QualificationsWhat we are looking for...Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration or related field.+2 years of experience in a hotel's accounting department.Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.Fluent in Spanish and English.You take ownership of important issues, solve problems, and make effective decisions.You learn quickly and adapt to SLS's unique culture.You are humble and open to ideas.
