CMA/ CA with 3-5 Years of Work Experience.

Requisites

Must have a strong Cost systems background and excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles with attention to detail
Computer Literate – Strong Microsoft Office Skills (MS Excel in particular & familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience with accounting software
Self-motivated and able to multi-task
Strong time management and organizational skills
Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
Strong Financial & general ledger accounting knowledge
Interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills


Job Description

Responsible for performing cost analyses and preparing budget reports- Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity
Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting reports for submission to management
Making estimates of new and proposed service costs
Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of services.
Maintaining Cost Accounting System
Assisting in month end close of the General Ledger
Conduct inventory reserve analysis on a quarterly basis and generate reports for senior management
Assist the Staff Accountant with suggesting changes to policies or procedures to increase cash flow
Generate PPV reports and analyse findings
Establish standard costs and update them as appropriate
Maintain and review the general ledger and reconcile balance sheets Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions
