We are looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our team in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona). This is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring corporate tax compliance and driving strategic tax planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the accurate and timely filing of corporate tax returns, while staying informed of relevant tax law changes.
Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company's objectives, optimizing tax liabilities within the scope of the law.
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate tax provisions in financial statements.
Lead tax audits and reviews, acting as the main point of contact for tax authorities.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to provide guidance on complex tax issues and business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
Identify and mitigate tax-related risks proactively.
Continuously improve tax systems and processes to enhance compliance efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or specialization in Taxation is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax firms, with significant expertise in corporate tax.
Previous experience in a leadership role within corporate tax management.
Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
A global perspective on tax systems, capable of managing tax issues across multiple jurisdictions.
Proven leadership in managing teams and processes in a fast-paced corporate environment.
