Advanced Accelerator Applications is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).Your Responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Under the oversight by the Spanish Head of tax, provide support on the following areas:Support enhancement of business operations and provide tax input on new business initiatives checking with relevant stakeholders compliance with all local tax laws, regulations and global policies.Monitor local and international tax environment developments, proactively identifying and proposing measures/initiatives and working with the relevant stakeholders on the implementation once approved, and working out solutions as well as awareness/education initiatives for the business.Work closely with the tax operations function, the shared service centres, local finance to drive quality and ensure compliance.Coordinating relevant stakeholders and maintaining the tax calendar as well as having oversight of information dashboards.Provide support to the Head of Tax in the tax audit defense by preparing and collecting the requested information/documentation from central and local sources, drafting defense arguments in collaboration with Group Tax, shared service centres and external service providers.Support the implementation and maintaining of tax technology tools.Provide support to ensure the implementation of local guidelines/work instructions and training in order to properly manage changes in tax-related processes.Support the monitoring of the effective corporate tax rate and the country, and push for the implementation of adopted measures in close collaboration with the functional tax COEs and divisional funds flow.What You'll Bring to the Role:Solid knowledge and good experience of corporation and international tax laws (incl. transfer pricing, tax trends, etc.) and tax audit management.Good tax technical expertise to operationalize and implement tax planning projects and to defend them in tax audits.Good leadership skills and effective team player who can create credibility and confidence within and outside the organization.Very good interpersonal and communication skills
