Role Overview:
As a Corporate Tax Advisor, focusing on both national and international markets, you will be a member of the global Tax Department and report to the Tax Manager. You will work closely with the Finance Department on all tax affairs of the Desigual foreign companies.
Responsibilities:
Provide tax advice and support on various HQ business projects to other functional areas within the Group.
Manage daily tax affairs in all the countries where the Group has its presence.
Prepare and/or review CIT provisions and the tax section of the Annual Accounts of both national and international subsidiaries.
Support the tax compliance process of all international foreign subsidiaries.
Coordinate income tax audits, working closely with tax advisors.
Lead tax planning, tax risk management, and provide tax strategy for the Group.
Analyse and evaluate strategic and operational decisions versus corporate and tax regulations.
Improve and implement global processes to ensure tax obligations are met.
React efficiently to global legislative changes and create systems for compliance.
Requirements:
MSc degree in Economics, Law, or Direct Tax.
+3 years of professional practice in multinational companies and preferably experience in international tax firms.
Experience with other European tax jurisdictions outside Spain.
Experience across corporate tax, indirect taxes, international tax, transfer pricing.
Knowledge of Tax Accounting.
Good analytical skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Well-developed communication skills.
Pro-active attitude and team player.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
HFM and SAP experience is a plus.
