And we rely on driven, hard-working commercial executives to protect the legacy of these brands and ensure their future success.About the roleThis role will be part of the Corporate Relations (CR) function in Southern Europe, reporting to the CR director, and will interact with a variety of internal and external collaborators.For this specific role, this will include:Implementing the Europe CR Strategy in the Southern Europe market.Providing support in the Communications pillar, working flexibly to support Diageo businesses in SE through powerful internal and external communications activities.Coordinating internal communications channels, including townhalls, video and written employee information channels, delivering compelling content to support engagement objectives.Becoming the CR representative in the organizing teams of key corporate events.Delivering the comms & engagement programme for Southern Europe, while presenting the Southern European Exec leaders with internal and external engagement opportunities.Contributing to the organization of Spain-based activities of the positive drinking and inclusivity programmes Learning for Life, Smashed, Wrong Side of the Road and DrinkIQ.Contributing to the admin work to support the CR function, including budget and vendor tracking.Top AccountabilitiesImplement the internal communications strategy in Southern Europe and manage comms channels.Create copy (both in English and Spanish) and video content for internal and external channels, managing external vendors as necessary.Contribute to the delivery of Diageo's positive drinking and inclusivity programs in Spain and Southern Europe.Manage the vendors of the Corporate Relations department including financial and administrative support (purchase orders, vendor induction, etc.).Develop a solid knowledge and understanding of Southern Europe including business strategy and goals, brands, innovations, policies, and practices.Collaborate and respond directly to specific project needs across various functions and countries.Work closely with the rest of the Southern Europe CR Team on internal and external communications for the geography, delivering against our reputation pillar and supporting the MD.Demonstrate deep personal accountability for great performance, being organized and reliable while responding to rapidly changing requirements.Experience working across multiple countries/geographies/cultures
