MISSION:
Reporting to the CFO, the Corporate Controlling Manager will lead the Industrial and Project controlling stewardship, partnering with key stakeholders (Operations, Sales, Engineering), ensuring alignment with corporate financial strategy and with both long-term objectives and short-term targets.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Set the corporate controlling function strategy (reporting, internal controls, business partnership, performance monitoring, compliance) to be deployed in every company's region.
Define standard processes to approach key business areas within its domain of responsibility (commercial RFQs, project management financial monitoring, P&L analysis and reconciliation, FP&A, monthly closing, budgeting, etc.)
Monitoring of key economic indicators of the Group companies, guaranteeing data reliability and timeliness, as well as robustness of reporting and analysis processes.
Define, coordinate and globally lead annual budget process, as well as periodic forecasting and long-range planning.
Actively participate, ensuring alignment with the financial corporate strategy, in selected managerial committees (Capex approval, RFQ approval, Project Management, Project Assignment, etc.)
Participate in the Monthly Closing reviews ensuring appropriate follow up of key business issues, identifying performance deviations, and actively working with business partners on action plans.
Define corporate reporting tools (jointly with IT function), continuously aiming to challenge the status quo, improving the existing baseline to provide value added to business partners and the CFO.
Manage and develop a small corporate Controlling team (2 pax), and coach local Finance Managers and Plant Controllers to ensure alignment with corporate finance goals and best practices.
