The company is seeking a highly professional, corporate communications expert. The role requires a highly intelligent, high-judgement, self-motivated and creative professional who has demonstrated their ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization. They will have a strong track record of delivering results across both earned and owned media as well as extensive experience dealing with national media.
Excellent writing skills are imperative. The post-holder must think and communicate clearly and be able to formulate a clear viewpoint on complicated issues, creating concise and well-written narratives. This role will frequently work in cross-functional teams and must be comfortable working across a range of countries, cultures, and business units.
Key job responsibilitiesParticipate in the creation of proactive communication campaigns to maintain a pipeline of positive and engaging stories about Amazon's work in Spain across multiple channels (owned, earned, shared, paid), with special emphasis on top tier media.Conceptualize, develop and review content to shape Amazon's corporate reputation often in collaboration with other PR teams e.g. Stores, Devices, AWS, Prime Video and marketing.Search for and develop storytelling opportunities and generate ideas for editorial projects.Find new and better ways to package content, write/edit communications with an obsession for quality and accuracy, and set the right seeding strategy to reach our audiences.Ensure that the content is distributed in the right format and on the right channels (owned, earned, shared, paid) to achieve maximum impact with audiences often collaborating with other PR teams in Spain and across the world.Develop effective outreach programmes to additional corporate stakeholders such as industry analysts and third-party groups.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.Experience in professional communications or public relations.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in working effectively with media and corporate influencers in Spain.
