The Corporate Accountant has responsibility for various monthly closing tasks such as intercompany reconciliations and other income and expense analysis. The objectives of the role for consolidation accountant are:
To perform monthly/quarterly close processes.To send monthly closing communications to stakeholders.To aid in the monthly consolidation within the established deadlines.Work closely with GBS and Finance operations teams to correct all issues identified in the monthly close process.
Skills: Drive accuracy and completeness of financial statements in conformance with IFRS.Perform intercompany reconciliation process for both P&L and balance sheet each month.Partner with Treasury and Tax and provide accounting support where needed.Become a super user and expert in OneStream.Manage monthly journal entry process and communicate SAP corrections needed.Support annual report footnote preparation.Support financial compliance and ensure all controls are being performed monthly (ie monthly close tracker).Support external audit.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across functions ensuring cross collaboration to deliver the best solution.Requirements: Experience participating in the group consolidation.Demonstrated an ability to work across functions and geographic boundaries.Good communication skills.Arxada is an equal opportunity employer.
