Corporate Access Network Product Manager - BarcelonaJob Overview: Part of the Value-Added Network Product team, the purpose of the role is to manage Access Network products (SDLAN or Cloud-based Guest solutions) and achieve their strategic technical, financial, and customer satisfaction objectives. The User Connectivity Product team is responsible for various products comprising, but not limited to, Wireless and mobility, security, and LAN services. This role will shape the strategy of the assigned products in line with the Group strategic plans and manage the performance of the product line throughout its product life cycle. As a Product Manager, you will be a key member of the Product Management team and will be the technical expert on LAN, Wireless, and other access network products, technologies, and competitive positioning with a focus on the wireless LAN product line. You will play a key role in providing detailed technical information to our partners, customers, and internal employees. You will concentrate on support for pre-sales activities, working with key accounts and field teams, responding to solution engineer inquiries, and assisting in Customer Proof of Concept trials.
Responsibilities: Author whitepapers, technical briefs, presentations, and other collateral that highlight and differentiate the technical aspects of User Connectivity products and solutions.Perform in-depth technical analysis of competitive product offerings.Be the subject matter expert on the product to help systems engineers with product-related questions.Work in concert with product line managers to review and refine product requirements and direction based on business and customer priorities.Provide technical assistance with customer RFPs.Deliver technical presentations to customers, partners, internal sales, and field engineering teams.Understand Network Access products and capabilities from a real-customer environment perspective.Spend time with customers gathering feedback and inject that feedback into the design cycle.Analyze and understand market trends and customer needs.Articulate and document the product vision strategy and define the target market in line with market trends, customer needs, and SITA strategy.Establish and implement an effective channel 'go to market' strategy for the products to include an agreed and executed sales and marketing plan.Support bid management processes and pre-sales customer interactions.Define product functional requirements.Guide product development projects throughout the build/launch process to ensure delivery of the right product to market within the agreed timescales.Participate in cross-functional teams that ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of product developments and product performance.Contribute to the management of partnerships and supplier relationships.Monitor and manage the cost structure related to the product.Develop and manage the product roadmap throughout the lifecycle from conception to retirement, covering the quote to bill chain on ordering, installation, field services, management, monitoring, support, and billing.Track the product(s) P&L revenue, new business, and profitability including competitive pricing of the product(s) in the marketplace to achieve desired sales volumes/optimized profit.Define and develop the product value proposition.Define a pricing strategy for the product(s) and ensure that key players understand the pricing strategy and apply it.Ensure communication of the project plans and progress tracking to all relevant parties.Comply with Product Management procedures and best practices.Act as coordinator for those working on the product development stage gate and product projects.Your Profile: Minimum 3-5 years of development, technical marketing, support, or systems engineering experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Technologies: Knowledge of LAN switches, WLAN access points, WLAN controller, passive optical network (PON), GPON, wifi guest captive portal, network access control (NAC), wifi survey, radio coverage, LAN assessment, industrial LAN, Firewall, VPN, network access control (NAC), segmentation, MIFI router.Vendor knowledge: Cisco, Meraki, HP Aruba.About AXA: As a world-leading insurance company, we act for human progress by protecting what matters.
