We are looking for an Engineer - Core Design that will participate in a wide range of engineering activities related to planning, design, engineering and implementation of IMS services including services design, planning and budgeting, roadmap development, business case assessment, integration and testing of new functionalities, inline with Vodafone Technology Networks recommendations, priorities and strategy and local market business needs. Will be engaged in customer requirement and architectural definition to grant full delivery alignment and provision of services with direct customer impact.Will develop a complete end-to-end architecture for Enterprise and Consumer segments leveraging the latest Cloud Native best practices and applying a harmonized and cost effective reference environment.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the evolution of IMS & IN Services platforms, including Application Servers, to enhance services' features and architectural capabilities for both consumer and enterprise customers, to cope with business/technology evolution and to assure the reliability, robustness and resiliency of the platforms and services.
Responsible for the design, engineering and successful implementation of marketing requirements within the remit of IMS & IN Services on Application Servers.
Coordination and vendor management activities during the project delivery, to guarantee time to market and compliancy to user requirements.
Grant the certification process to ensure the appropriate quality & end-to-end integration in the delivery phase, delivering high quality products and solutions.
Drive agile methodology and techniques into the practices of the delivery team
Plan and grow the capacity of the IMS & IN Services architecture to cope with traffic growth and evolution.
Track key platform and services KPIs to assure optimal performance.
What you bring
University degree in Telecommunication, Electronics or Information Technology
Deep knowledge of Voice and Data signalling topology, interfaces and protocols and network tracing tools
Solid knowledge of IMS and IM
Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux (shell scripting)
Essential to have professional-level fluency in English (spoken and written)
