Job description : Start Date : ASAP, 40 hrs p/w (hybrid/remote) Contract : 1 year initially - extension by mutual consent Position summary Job responsibilities Support with preplacement of business cases aligned with GRI's mission.
Write compelling grant proposals, including budgets, narratives, and supporting documents, in accordance with funder guidelines and deadlines.
Support the Senior manager program implementation with finance and administrative staff to ensure accurate budgeting and financial reporting in grant proposals, including analyzing financial and non-financial data.
Support the team on the donor reporting cycles and overall coordination of reporting deliverables to the donors.
Act as liaison between program staff in the region and teams at the Secretariat regarding program and non-program related activities.
Support with the coordination on research projects, case studies and evaluations of GRI's programs.
Other duties as requested.

Previous experience in similar role (i.e., managing donor-funded projects, grant writing for nonprofit organizations) in an international environment.
Experience with design & management as well as monitoring & evaluation for development projects and programs or a strong willingness to acquire these skills quickly through formal and on-the-job training.
Able to translate projects into business cases, including financial management, budgeting, resourcing and (international) legal requirements.
Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Strong analytical skills and desirable experience with PowerBI, Excel or other analytical tools.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Pro-active and results-driven with ability to build and maintain strong work relationships internally and externally.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
