Requirements Bachelor's degree in Philology or a related field in the humanities and education.Extensive experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language, as well as in leadership roles and coordinating academic teams, with strong skills in motivating and advising teaching staff.High levels of empathy, assertiveness, and conflict resolution skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational abilities and outstanding skills in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Pedagogical knowledge: deep expertise in Spanish as a foreign language teaching methodologies and practices.Technological competence: proficiency in educational tools and digital platforms.Professional-level proficiency in English within an educational and professional setting. Highly Desirable Knowledge of other languages.Certification as a DELE examiner at all levels and prior experience managing DELE exams.Previous experience with university study abroad groups and programs. Objectives Act as the primary coordinator and manager of the school's teaching staff.Achieve objectives and satisfaction indicators related to the academic area.Oversee student placement and monitor their academic progress in accordance with the teaching methodology outlined in the school's educational plan and the guidelines of Expanish's academic management. Position Details On-site schedule from Monday to FridayFull-time positionPermanent contractImmediate start Responsibilities Academic Management: Act as a liaison between the school management, teaching staff, and students.Ensure compliance with educational standards and address students' needs.Participate in the development of academic materials and customized programs for closed groups or those with special needs.Prepare for and participate in SIELE and DELE exam sessions. Coordination of the Academic Team: Actively participate in the recruitment process and training of teachers joining the school.Provide pedagogical and professional support to teaching staff.Organize meetings and training workshops in collaboration with Expanish's academic management.Conduct classroom observations and performance evaluations. Management of Evaluations and Exams: Coordinate the administration of exams and assessments.Analyze results to identify areas for improvement. Student Support: Provide academic guidance and support to students.Manage the resolution of academic issues.Participate in a rotating on-call/emergency phone schedule (approximately 1-2 weeks per month). Administration and Logistics: Conduct student placement and determine class assignments.Coordinate class schedules and classroom allocation.Oversee the use of educational and technological resources.Maintain academic and administrative records.Monitor student attendance records.Ensure the continuous updating of the internal database.Manage the purchase of textbooks and record academic-related expenses in the accounting system.
