Day shift 5am-1:30pm Do you enjoy cooking, thrive in fast-paced work environments, and seek your next career opportunity? If so, this position is for you! An established catering company in the Orange City, IA area is hiring cooks, prep cooks, grille cooks, and weekend cooks to join their growing team. As a cook, you will work collaboratively to create the best food possible using authentic recipes.

You will be a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with all aspects of the dining services program as needed.

Responsibilities: Time food production to ensure all food is ready at the time of service. Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus to preserve freshness, quality, and appeal. Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid overproduction or underproduction. Maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organized work environment at all times. Support other kitchen employees to ensure essential kitchen functions are performed adequately. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years cooking experience preferred. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. ServSafe Certification preferred. Benefits & Pay: $14-$17 / hr. DOE Paid every Friday. Direct Deposit and/or Paycards Available.
