Cook / Baker

Day shift - 5am-1 : 30pm
Do you enjoy cooking and baking and enjoy fast-paced work environments? If so, this position is for you!! An established catering company in the Orange City, IA area is someone who can cook and bake! As a cook and baker, you will work on a team to make the best food you can with authentic recipes.
You will work cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary.
If you are enthusiastic about cooking and serving people, then this is the job for you!
Responsibilities :

Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of service.
Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus in a way that preserves food freshness, quality and appeal.
Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production.
Support other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately.
Assist in preparing dessert bars, cupcakes, pastries, loafs, etc.

Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years cooking or baking experience
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
ServSafe Certification preferred.

Benefits & Pay :

$17-$19 / hr. DOE
Paid every Friday.
