This role is a rare opportunity for a strategic thinker to have a significant impact on the company's continued growth and operational excellence.The COO / VP of Finance will work alongside the CEO to formulate and carry out strategic business plans, while overseeing financial operations and driving operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate combines extensive financial experience with dynamic operational skills, bringing a deep understanding of business growth, process optimization, and leading teams effectively.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:Oversee all daily operations of the company, ensuring optimal efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Lead operational strategy, performance tracking, and process improvement initiatives.Financial Strategy:Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives.
Ensure all financial controls, policies, and procedures are robust, while providing strong financial governance.
Reporting to the CFO.Risk Management:Assess, manage, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Drive the organization's focus on compliance and best practices.Team Leadership:Provide leadership and guidance to the employees, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Foster cross-departmental collaboration and ensure that teams are aligned with corporate objectives.Capital Allocation:Manage capital structure and investment strategies, including overseeing cash flow, funding, and long-term financial planning.
Work with investors and stakeholders to ensure funding needs are met while maximizing value.Mergers & Acquisitions:Lead M&A initiatives, ensuring smooth integrations and strong financial outcomes that support the long-term vision of the organization.Stakeholder Engagement:Serve as a key point of contact with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and other partners.Key Qualifications:Proven experience as a COO, VP of Finance, or similar executive role in a stable, dynamic company.Strong operational expertise with experience driving efficiency and scalability in growing companies.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate large, diverse teams.Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial forecasting, and managing P&L.Familiarity with data analysis, performance metrics, and key business drivers.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Experience with M&A, capital markets, and investor relations is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
