And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Key job responsibilitiesThe Controls System Development Engineer is responsible for PLC programming, technical writing tasks, electrical schematic interpretation to IO lists, parts BOM creation, full system development, scaling system design (operational performance & scalability), OT networking, OS configuration, operational excellence, as well as performing in-depth root cause analysis of current AWS developed mechanical automation systems.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, RubyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology- 3 years Data Center Design, Commissioning, or Construction ExperienceAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market.
