ALBA is a synchrotron light source facility, devoted to research on a variety of fields, like bioscience, chemistry, material science, electronics. It is a Spanish public institution, co-financed by the Spanish Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovacion and the Catalan Conselleria d'Empresa i Coneixment. ALBA users come from universities, research institutes, and industry. Beyond science, ALBA is a hub for technological developments, training, and innovation.
