The Data Center Global Services team is looking for exceptional individuals to join our Implementation, Controls organization as Controls Engineer for Construction (BMS/EPMS), responsible for the building automation systems within Amazon data centers. Role Responsibilities: Understanding of electrical diagrams, control diagrams, building operations, control circuits, and industrial HVAC. Ability to ascertain customer needs to help develop project scope and specifications. Ability to manage scope of work relative to the site specifics and customer needs. Ability to manage project engineering to determine the scope of work relative to the design intent of the customer needs. Ability to read and interpret specifications and implement those specifications in the work environment. Development of control panel BOMs. Development of ISA data sheets for various types of instrumentation. Development of drawings for control panels, power distribution, and junction boxes. Development of logic diagrams for complex logic devices. Preparation of cable routing plans and schedules. Performing inspections, testing, and commissioning of facility systems. Work individually and as part of a team to develop new products, support existing products, test and evaluate equipment. Provide technical assistance as needed to internal customers. Coordinate project work internally and externally to ensure on-time completion of projects within budget. Key Responsibilities: Controls Engineer (CE) deploys and maintains BMS (Building Management System) and EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring System) in AWS leased/colocation data centers. CE coordinates with AWS DCEO (Data Center Engineering Operations) teams to implement new builds and upgrades, ensuring high availability and resiliency of these control systems
