Reporting to the Reporting and Compliance Manager for West Med Region, the role will be responsible for supporting all financial controlling activities in relation to monthly reporting, financial compliance, direct- and indirect tax returns, internal- and external audits, and compliance to local statutory requirements aspects of the Spanish region.
ResponsibilitiesHands on the month-end close to ensure timely and accurate report of financial statements to headquarter for Iberia entities.Responsible for recurrent General Ledger postings and cost allocations.Responsible for evaluation and booking of all required provisions.Follow-up and reconciliation of specific balance sheet accounts.Support on timely and efficient closing process and submission of monthly and annual reporting package.Treasury: Support on the daily, weekly, and monthly cash-flow forecast.Support SSC in clearing of bank reconciliation.Close relationship with banks.Accounts payable: Review and follow-up of payment proposals and manual payments.Follow-up key supplier accounts and reconciliation.PR/PO/GR for department suppliers.Support in supplier claims.Taxes: Ensure preparation, completion, and submission of all statutory taxes: intrastate, VAT, SII, withholding tax, and other local taxes.Support on the documentary work for tax audits.Complete SOX control.Support on internal and external audits.Other administrative tasks: Responsible for compulsory surveys.QualificationsBusiness administration degree or equivalent.Knowledge of finance, audit, budgeting, accounting, and law.Knowledge in tax & compliance.Knowledge of information systems SAP/BI.CompetencesKnowledge about SAP and ERP systems.Fluent in English is essential.What We OfferWe offer an exciting job with great opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring environment at a leading wind turbine producer.
