Loads & Controls (Service LaC) products vary from Rotor upgrades including multibrand, software products like PowerPlus, site-specific controller tuning, handling field issues, building predictive maintenance strategies etc.As a Control Engineer, you will be responsible for developing control solutions to address Service business opportunities in compliance with the design standards.
You will be part of a global team distributed across India, Denmark, and Spain.Responsibilities Development and tuning of control algorithmsImplementation of control algorithms in MATLAB/SimulinkControl performance data analysis in turbine/fleet level controller tuning and optimisationFeasibility studies of new wind turbine products aiming at optimizing power, loads, and noise performance through innovative use of sensors, controllers and actuatorsVerification on all levels, including software tests and field testingRisk management activities such as risk assessments and failure mode and effectDevelop and support innovation and conceptual projectsPossess a broad insight and understanding of the turbine components and control strategyQualifications Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D in electrical, electromechanical, instrumentation & controls, controls or a similar fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in simulation/modelling tools such as MATLAB SIMULINKSolid competence in mathematical modeling of electromechanical, hydraulic systemsWorking knowledge of control design and control tuning using a model-based control approachExperience in Wind Turbine Controls is advantageousCompetencies Solid in control theoryProgramming knowledge in C++, SQLControl system modelling, controller design, controller tuning & controller verificationGood knowledge of power generation conceptsKnowledge of aerodynamicsWhat We Offer We offer you a versatile job in a motivating and collaborative team in a global environment.
