We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.Role ContextAs a Contracts Manager, you will utilize in-depth knowledge, advanced problem-solving skills and an awareness of Worley priorities to translate strategic direction into tactical plans and implementation activities.
You'll be able to develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to Worley business operations.AccountabilitiesYou'll be:Making independent decisions and setting priorities related to complex situations.Managing smaller projects, or portions of larger projects.Responsible for the daily administration of project-related policies and processes to meet business objectives.Working with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance.Managing and directing work directly or through supervisors or professionals leading others.Completing contract assignments for all phases of contractual undertakings.Understanding and applying thorough knowledge of the principles governing the business terms and conditions of contracts being negotiated.Identifying, soliciting, and selecting reliable contractors to supply consultant, specialty, and construction services to support project execution.Negotiating terms and conditions, preparing contracts, monitoring contractor performance, and delivery of services to meet objectives.Providing agreed approvals and supporting documentation for payment of invoices to ensure the required services to Worley and its clients.You'll have:Academic BackgroundUniversity Degree, or equivalent, in a related field or applicable discipline.Experience10+ years of relevant experience including supervisory, project management, and/or technical experience.Technical KnowledgeAdvanced understanding of systems, processes, and tools related to the field.
Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues.
