This role is fundamental to ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects, where you will provide expertise in monitoring progress and validating construction schedules. As a Project Controls Manager/Planner based on-site, you will be responsible for adhering to project timelines, overseeing daily and weekly site meetings, and implementing effective strategies to ensure project milestones are met. Your exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail will greatly contribute to our project management team's success, ensuring that deliverables are achieved efficiently and in alignment with client expectations. Responsibilities Daily and Weekly Site Meetings: Attend and actively participate in daily and weekly meetings to assess current project progress, identify potential issues, and facilitate discussions regarding work plans and scheduling. Monitor Construction Progress: Track and report on the progress of construction activities, ensuring compliance with timelines and quality standards. Validate Construction Schedules: Review and validate the construction schedules provided by contractors, ensuring they align with the overall project timeline. Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports to project stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and timelines. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the project. Risk Management: Identify and analyze potential risks associated with project schedules and progress. Documentation: Ensure that all project control documents are completed accurately and maintained in accordance with company standards and protocols. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by assessing current project control processes and suggesting enhancements. Qualifications Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls, specifically in a construction environment. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary for assessing project performance. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
