Centrient Pharmaceuticals is wholly owned by Bain Capital Private Equity, a leading global private investment firm.The Operations department of the business Unit Finished Dosage Form (FDF) has a vacancy in its Barcelona offices for the following position:The PositionThe Contract Manufacturing Organisation planner (CMO planner) serves as the primary point of contact for CMOs for demand and supply day-to-day activities. The CMO planner is responsible for the coordination of order demand and supply planning (API order and delivery, consumption of API at CMO, the production planning in alignment with customer contracts). Deals with issues related to production of FDF and takes mitigating actions, in alignment with CMO manager when necessary. The CMO planner is responsible for reporting and administrating relevant production-related data (e.g., SAP) and KPI reporting for the CMOs assigned to the portfolio. For this position, cross-functional cooperation is essential, and the CMO planner is a core team member of the cross-functional CMO teams.The main activities and responsibilitiesPrimary point of contact for CMOs on operational aspects with focus on communicating and aligning on volume requirements and manufacturing at the CMO.Supply planning - Responsible for transparency and alignment with API planners and purchasing to ensure API availability for the FDF business demand.API ordering with API planners and consumption tracking with CMOs, including an annual stock count at CMOs in assigned portfolio.Responsible for monitoring actual production compared with targets to ensure supply reliability.Responsible for the preparation of the demand plan (and updates) based on the annual DCS Plan and reviewed sales forecast and deadlines.Responsible for monitoring the forecasted (unconstrained) based on information from the Customer Service Agent, ensuring that the demand supports the commercial plans and contracts with customers.Leads and coordinates routine frequency S&OP meetings with assigned CMOs.Understand and act in case of potential supply interactions caused by deviations, complaints, unavailability of material, resources, etc.Reporting & Administration - Responsible for providing information for decision-making with respect to CMO production and monitor relevant follow-up and updates in SAP and other system-related tools, like IBP and NPL.Provide input on key performance indicators from CMO assigned.Cross-functional alignment - Act as a core team member of the cross-functional CMO teams and bring relevant information from the function to the team meetings.
